Account access

Account access covers the pages before you reach an agency workspace: sign-in, sign-up, invitation acceptance, agency creation, agency selection, and password reset.

Sign in

Use Sign in with your email address and password. If you were trying to open a protected page first, Offstage can return you to that page after sign-in. If there is no specific destination, you continue to agency selection.

The sign-in page also links to password reset and to the external-user sign-in flow. Use the normal sign-in page when you are an internal team member. Use the external-user link only when an agency invited you as an outside collaborator rather than as a teammate.

Create an account

Offstage sign-up depends on the launch mode:

SituationWhat happens
Public sign-up is openAnyone can create an account from the sign-up page.
Private beta accessThe sign-up link must include an approved beta token. The email address is pre-filled and locked to the approved address.
Team invitationThe invitation link can open sign-up with the invited email address and the invitation ID, even while public sign-up is gated.

The sign-up form asks for full name, email, and password. Passwords must be at least eight characters, and the form shows strength feedback while you type. After account creation, Offstage sends you to the invitation, agency selector, or workspace you were trying to reach.

Accept a team invitation

Team invitations are for people who should work inside the agency workspace. They are different from external-user invitations.

When you open a team invitation, Offstage checks that the invitation exists, is still pending, and has not expired. If you are not signed in, you can create an account or sign in, then return to the invitation.

If you are signed in with the invited email address, you can accept or decline. Accepting the invitation:

  • joins you to the agency;
  • applies the role from the invitation;
  • copies any artist scope from the invitation to your member record;
  • sets the new agency as active;
  • opens the agency workspace.

If you are signed in with a different email address, Offstage asks you to sign in with the invited address or request a new invitation for the current address. This prevents invitations from being accepted by the wrong account.

Select or create an agency

After sign-in, Offstage uses agency selection to decide where to send you.

If you have one internal agency membership, Offstage selects it automatically and opens the agency calendar. If you have several agencies, you choose one from the agency picker. If you have no internal agency memberships but you do have external access, Offstage sends you to the external portal selector instead.

If you have no agencies yet, choose Create your first agency. Agency creation asks for an agency name and URL slug. The slug becomes the workspace path after /t/, so choose something stable and recognizable for the agency.

Creating an agency sets it as the active agency and opens the new workspace calendar.

Reset a password

Use Forgot password? from the sign-in page. Enter your email address, and Offstage sends a reset link if an account exists for that email.

For privacy, the confirmation message is the same whether or not the email exists. That way, the reset page does not reveal which email addresses are registered.

The reset link opens Set a new password with a security token in the URL. Enter the new password twice. If the token is missing, invalid, expired, or already used, request a new reset link.

External access is separate

External users do not use the normal agency workspace. They use the external portal for the specific schedule or document access an agency gave them.

Use External users for outside collaborators, managers, reviewers, artists, accountants, or counterparties who should not become internal team members.
