Guided tutorials

Offstage includes in-app tutorial quests for the workflows most teams need first. They open from the Getting started launcher in your workspace and guide you with one highlighted target at a time.

Calendar overview with event list and calendar controls
The first tutorials begin on the calendar because this is where most agency work starts: reviewing shows, opening details, and creating the next event.

If no sample show exists but a real show does, the tour can run as a read-only walkthrough on that real show.Sample data, Work a show

Quests are contextual. A low-permission teammate may see fewer quests. The team-invite tutorial only appears when it still makes sense for the agency, and Analytics copy changes when access is scoped to shows where the user is the booker.

The sample-show tutorial uses a real-feeling show so users can see overview fields, venue details, money, documents, tasks, resources, and side-panel summaries together.
The create-show tutorial follows the same Calendar → New → Show path, then focuses the key artist, date, booker, visibility, and Create event controls.
Invite Team Member dialog with email, role, and artist scope controls
The team-invite quest walks through the same invite dialog your agency uses for real teammates: email, role, artist scope, and send.
The team-invite quest covers Settings, Team members, role choice, artist scope, and the final invitation action without asking users to understand the permissions model first.
The contract quest starts from a show, opens the contract create flow, and teaches how template, counterparty, currency, selected deal lines, and total fit together.
The invoice quest uses the same show context, then shows invoice template, counterparty, issue and due dates, billed lines, total, and create action.
The artist quest starts from the roster, creates the required artist name, and then shows why the full artist page is useful for booking defaults, contacts, resources, and financial context.
The analytics quest starts broad, then moves into compare and drill-down views so users see period changes and rankings rather than one static dashboard.

Use them on desktop or mobile

On desktop, the launcher sits near the bottom of the workspace. On mobile, it opens as a bottom sheet so the highlighted target and the instructions can stay visible above the tab bar. Some beats ask you to open a menu or tab first when mobile hides a sidebar or lifecycle rail behind an extra control.

Finish or hide the guide

When you complete every available quest, the guide shows a completion screen. From there you can hide the guide or clear sample data if you have permission to manage workspace settings.

If you hide the launcher, you can reopen the guide from the Help menu. Hiding the guide only hides the tutorial surface; it does not delete shows, artists, contracts, invoices, or other workspace records.
